"Club Nothing" 2026 Community Grant Competition (the "Club Nothing Grant") - Terms & Conditions

This Club Nothing Grant is bound by the general Nothing Contest Terms & Conditions, which terms are incorporated herein by reference. In the event of any conflict, the general Nothing Contest Terms & Conditions shall prevail.

Organizer: This competition is run by Nothing Technology Limited, 21A John Street, Bedford House. London WC1N 2BF, United Kingdom (“Nothing”)

Entry Requirements: To enter the competition validly, entrants must complete every field within the typeform application and attach an appropriate presentation in PDF format supporting their event pitch idea. Entrants must be 18 or older, and must be based in an eligible region of the World (subject to these terms and condition).

Competition Start Date: The applications will open on 1 August at 13:00 BST.

Competition End Date: The applications will close on 9 August 2026 at 23:59 BST. Entries made after this time and date will not be included in the selection process.

Winner Selection: Four (4) winners will be selected by a panel of industry experts and the Nothing team (the “Judges”) to win the prize. A shortlist of 6-8 finalists will be invited to an interview to discuss their ideas with the Judges. The final four winners will be selected by the Judges from the finalists following the interviews. The criteria used to select the winners will be creativity in design & production, music curation, community & audience, alignment with the Nothing brand values, bringing something unexpected and unseen before.

Prize: There will be four (4) prizes of $10,000 each. Each winner will receive $10,000 to organise, produce and promote their club night event idea (the “Event”) in collaboration with Nothing. Winners will also receive a pre-agreed number of Nothing products at Nothing’s sole discretion, and an opportunity to collaborate on merchandise with Nothing.

Notification: The winners will be notified by email (via the email address provided in their application) by a member of the Nothing team to notify them of their success.

Claiming the Prize: To accept the prize winners must respond to the email notifying them of their win within three (3) working days. They must then sign an agreement with Nothing confirming they will use the prize for their presented Event idea and will collaborate with Nothing’s team on PR, marketing and social media delivery.

Failure to respond and/or sign the agreement within this timeframe will result in forfeiture of the prize, and a new winner will be selected.

Event Date Period: The Event must take place between 1st September 2026 and 31st December 2026.

Budget Transparency: By submitting your proposed budget breakdown as part of the application you are stating that this breakdown is true to the best of your knowledge. As the planning for the Event continues you must remain transparent with the Nothing team in the community check-in meetings about changes or developments. 100% of the prize money must be spent on the Event proposed and cannot be transferred to other projects or taken or used in any other way.

Cancellation of Event: If you cancel your Event you must either reschedule the Event within the agreed Event Date Period and update the Nothing team immediately, or return the total prize money awarded.

Nothing Product Placement: All DJs and performers using headphones during the Event must use Nothing headphones. These will be supplied by the Nothing team and do not need to be returned post-event.

Social Video Footage: Nothing will provide a Nothing phone to each winner for audiovisual content capture at the Event. Each winner must capture audiovisual content using the Nothing phone and the specifics of this content will be discussed with the winners directly at the point of their acceptance of the prize.

Contact With Nothing team: By accepting the prize you agree to a minimum of two (2) scheduled video call catch-ups with the Nothing team to discuss the event planning, artist bookings, integration of branding, co-branded merchandise, photographer, videographer and general content capture.

Promotion: By accepting the prize you agree to supply Nothing with all requested imagery related to the Event (including without limitation artwork, photography and video content) (the “Content”) and agree to grant Nothing unlimited and unrestricted usage rights in connection with the Content and your name across Nothing’s owned channels, in relation to “Club Nothing”.

Asset Requirements: All promotional assets such as flyers and posters both physical and digital must contain the “Club Nothing” logo. This will be supplied directly to the winners in required formats by the Nothing team.

Social Promotion: Upon winning the prize you agree to accept a so-called “collaboration post with the Nothing community page on Instagram. The post will confirm you publically as one of winners of the Club Nothing Grant. Furthermore you agree,whenever requested by the Nothing team, to add a so-called “tag” of the official Nothing & Nothing Community channels on the online promotional posts of your Event across social channels including but not limited to Instagram, Tiktok and X. You agree to do a post-Event round up post using Content from the Event with the Nothing and Nothing Community social channel accounts tagged on image and within the caption copy.

Social Media Collaboration Posts: You agree to accept collaboration posts on Instagram and TikTok with any Nothing owned handles as requested by the Nothing team, primarily including the winner announcement Instagram grid post, which will be designed by the Nothing creative team using a supplied image from each winner. In addition you agree to repost and share posts to your official social media accounts as requested by and at Nothing’s discretion.

Photography & Videography: By accepting the prize you agree to engage a photographer and videographer to supply content from your Events, this must be covered within your Event’s budget. Both of these contractors must be shared with the Nothing community team at least 2 weeks ahead of the event date for approval in writing. If either contractor is not approved you must supply a minimum of 2 alternative options, if the decision is made that the further suggestions are not suitable Nothing will assist you in finding photographers & videographers that fit the brief and will supply these as options for mutual agreement by you and us.

Photography & Videography Delivery: A minimum of 80 images and the video content must be delivered within 5 working days of the Event taking place. You agree to brief the videographer and photographer to capture the event as a whole and include any agreed branding touchpoints, such as co-branded merch or logos. The briefs will be shared with Nothing within no less than 1 week to the Event and Nothing will have the ability to adjust the brief upon any missing deliverables.

Content Rights: Winners must ensure that all content rights are granted exclusively to Nothing and agreed on a full buyout basis in perpetuity.

Merchandise: Nothing intends to collaborate with each winner to design and produce a merch item bringing each winner and “Club Nothing” branding together in an integrated way. The cost of production and shipping will be covered by Nothing and the winners will not be expected to contribute or cover the cost. The creation of this merchandise is at Nothing’s sole discretion and Nothing reserves the right to not produce any merchandise at any given time. If a winner would like to produce their own merchandise for their event this may be done only with the Nothing community team’s prior oversight and written approval.

Press and Media: By accepting the prize you agree to comply with any and all press and media requests of coverage of your collective and/or event until 31 December 2027.

Shipping Restrictions: Please note that we may not be able to ship to certain regions due to local restrictions or blocks on deliveries over a specific value. Nothing cannot bypass these restrictions. By entering the Competition, you represent and warrant that you are not subject to any blacklists or sanctions of relevant countries, including, without limitation, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union and that you are in full compliance with applicable export control laws and regulations. Should shipping of the prize to a winner’s address be excessively difficult or expensive, Nothing may, at its reasonable discretion, select an alternative winner. The winner shall be solely responsible for any taxes associated with collection of the prize, including, without limitation, personal income taxes.

Eligibility: Participants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of participation and residing in an eligible region throughout the World. Due to legal restrictions, Nothing is unable to accept entries from Sudan, North Korea, Syria, Iran, Cuba, the Crimea region, or any other countries/regions which may be subject to export controls or sanctions at the time of the competition or where entering this competition may be prohibited. Nothing staff and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate or win. Any accounts identified as spam or suspicious will be excluded from the random selection process and prevented from winning, without prior notification. For example, creating multiple new accounts to improve odds of winning is considered suspicious behavior and will result in exclusion. Nothing will not accept competition entries that are: automatically generated by computer, completed by third parties or in bulk, illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with or that are incomplete.

Restrictions: The prize money cannot be exchanged for other products or any monetary equivalent, and winners are unable to transfer the prize to anyone else. Winners will also receive product as part of the prize, winners are not able to claim product warranty or customer support on won prizes.

Nothing’s Rights: Nothing reserves the right to modify the competition, its terms and conditions, and entry requirements at any time.
