Club Nothing (R)
Who’s getting $10,000 to throw a party?
Our way to party with the people who inspire us.
Nightlife is where the most outrageous expressions evolve into ideas that push culture in new directions. This year, we’re backing experiences that use sound to join people, places and intensity. From LA to New Delhi, we’re giving four collectives $10,000 to throw their most outrageous parties.
Black Bass Collective, LA
Black Bass Collective is a Black and Queer-led collective bringing liberation to the dance floor. The Blood Ball is a campy, afro-futurist odyssey hosted in a Downtown LA warehouse. Inspired by the horror film Blade (1998), this year’s Halloween party pays homage to ballroom and Black vampire aesthetics, summoning the sound of the underground with sets from LSDXOXO, Shekdas and more.

Whorechata, NYC
Whorechata is a bridge between underground artists in NYC and cities across Latin America. To create space for emerging DJs, producers, and creatives to connect across borders, they’re throwing their biggest party yet in December. Expect a lowrider-filled parking lot, a 360 degree booth and custom sound sets bumping guaracha, Latin club, tribal, dembow, and experimental electronic music.

Nida Merchant at Signal, New Delhi
Signal is the next venture from New Delhi Radio founder Nida Merchant. This year, expect a neighbourhood takeover with a day to night block party across intimate venues in Delhi. Five local radio stations from across the region, brought together for the first time. Platforming emerging talent and allowing audiences to move freely between exploring different sounds and culture.

Oroko Radio, Jinga.
From sunrise to sunset on the banks of the Nile, Oroko Radio is taking over a festival stage in the Ugandan jungle for Nyege Nyege Festival, with a line-up of their residents and friends from around the world. Oroko Radio are a not-for-profit community organisation, creating a platform for creative communities in Africa and the Diaspora. They’ve had over 300 radio residents across 50 countries, collaborated with other grassroots organisations and thrown parties all over the world, from Ghana to Brazil to South Korea, to France and more.
